Revolutionary War pension claim, 1818 May-Sept.

Beardsley's claim that he enlisted on 20 June 1776 in Norfolk, Conn. in the company commanded by Capt. Lacy of Col. Heman Swift's regiment, was captured in Oct. 1777, and when paroled, enlisted in Capt. Chapman's company, Swift's regiment, serving until the end of the war. Includes depositions of Sherman Dayton, David Beardsley, and Lois Beardsley, certified by Judge Charles Townsend, Niagara County Court of Common Pleas.
